Installation
- Go to Plugins β Add New
- Search for „Device Based Redirect“
- Click Install Now β Activate
Requirements: WordPress 5.8+, PHP 7.4+

- Go to DeviceRedirect24 β Add New
- Fill in the form:
- Link Name: Your reference (e.g., „My App“)
- Short Link: URL slug (e.g.,
appβyoursite.com/go/app) - iOS URL: Where iOS users go (optional)
- Android URL: Where Android users go (optional)
- Desktop URL: Fallback for all devices (required β)
- Click Save Link

Links Return 404 Error
Fix: Go to Settings β Permalinks β Click Save Changes
This refreshes your WordPress rewrite rules and fixes the issue.
Device Not Detected Correctly
- Clear browser cache and cookies
- Test in incognito/private mode
- Test on actual devices (not emulators)
- Check user agent string isn’t being spoofed
Analytics Not Showing Data
- Wait a few seconds after clicking a link (data processes in real-time)
- Check if JavaScript is enabled in your browser
- Ensure the link was accessed correctly via /go/ URL
- Try clearing WordPress cache if using a caching plugin
Redirect Not Working
- Verify Desktop URL is set (required!)
- Check for typos in URLs
- Ensure URLs include http:// or https://
- Test the target URLs work independently
